Adiger is a village about 63km from Makele that has a gravity flow scheme, biogas and traditional pit latrines. It has been 3 years since their construction so we were really able to see the benefits to the community and learn how Ecover's project money will be used in a similar way in other villages.
There we met Kaleayta Godefey. She has two children – a daughter, Girmunaesh who is four and a baby called Tirkas Tesfay. She said:
“For drinking now we are using clean water, so we are feeling well.”
